In this section of our site, we have provided short power point presentations of the inspection of various components or areas of the home, or actual testing that our inspectors were involved with. They are very short “snipets” but intended to inform you as to what your inspector should be providing as information on the report. As we have always recommended, you should do as much homework before making any repair or starting a remodeling project and always hire a licensed professional to make the repairs and lastly, obtain the required building permits. Your local building department should be able to provide you with any local requirements and instructions on clearing of the permits once the work is completed.
